Finding good light
All these were taken on a walk around Fowler lake with my aunt
This photo i though turned out really well/ Believe it or not i didn't do anything to this photo in photoshop. The lighting was awesome, with the reflection of the lake and the vibrant colors that the sun was complimenting.
This photo was also in the same place as the first one, in memorial park. I tries to get the linear feel and i think i achieved it. I think the lighting was good in for the reflection in the water. I changed the saturation and contrast a bit to get the bridge to stand out more.
This was an old garage door, that i found on our walk. I thought it was cool because of the old look that it gave off. I also like that one of the
windows was broken which also have it that antique feel. I also tries to get that linear effect with this as well. I made the blues
a little more saturated to make it stand out.
This photo was taken by
Fongs at the skyline. I thought that the two
chimmneys looked cool together. It gives the picture an industrial feel. The building was blue before but i blacked it out using the blur overlay with the linear blur layer. I think the light from the sky adds great contrast.
Theres also a bird in the sky!
This photo i also took at memorial park Oconomowoc. I chose to take this picture because of the overall layout. I think this photo turned out well. Really gives you the urban feel.
This is another picture that i took of the garage door. I took one farther away to make it seem more run down. I think the composition is good, with nothing dead center. Overall, i think that this picture does a good job conveying it's theme.
This is the last picture i took for my color exploration. I like how this photo looks very rustic. I made the vines stand out a little more with saturation, and i took the picture so the window would follow the rule of thirds.
